Do you have a gluten free menu?
No, but only because most of our items can be prepared gluten free. Please let your server know when you arrive so that we can give our personal attention to your dietary needs.
Do you have free parking?
At lunch, Monday-Friday: we offer limited discounted parking in our parking garage [located in the building] for $6.00 you’ll receive three hours of parking.
At dinner and on weekends, we have complimentary parking in the garage for up to three hours.
Do you have a dress code?
We call it business casual. Collared shirts for men, jeans are fine too. Please no workout clothes, sweat pants and no sleeveless shirts on men. We kindly ask you to remove hats as well.
Do you have a kids menu?
We do, but only for the most well behaved children. Items include, pasta, burger, fish and chips and chicken fingers.
Are dogs allowed on the patio?
Well behaved, friendly dogs are permitted when on leash. Patio is open when staffed and when the weather is most ideal.
Who is the restaurant named after?
Our founder, Ned Grace named the restaurant after his late grandfather who’s name was Charles Martin Hemenway.
What’s the most popular menu item?
Paella. It’s a flavorful Spanish rice dish with swordfish, shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams and linguica.
Is it a quiet restaurant?
Hemenway’s 22 foot ceilings and we fill the dining room each night, so the answer is no. But good restaurants are busy, and busy restaurants get noisy. It’s a bit quieter after 8pm and during the afternoon around 3pm.
I forgot to give my server my Fare Rewards during my visit. Can I still get credit?
Yes you can! Simply download our Fare Rewards mobile app from the App Store and login to your account (Note: If you are new to the app, you will need to click on the forgot password link to set up a password for your account) select the ADD CHECK from the sidebar. Can I purchase a Newport Restaurant Group gift card at the restaurant?
Yes.
